"Overall, the hotel/resort is very nice and serene. The beach front rooms provide a relaxing atmosphere. The current renovations make for a couple of hazardous areas, but surprisingly, no noise. There is only one restaurant on the premises - it has limited hours and is overpriced. The food was superb and the service excellent."

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, you can hear everything from the next room through the connecting door between two rooms, which makes the experience less satisfactory. It’s not mentioned in the description of the room. If I knew about it, I would not book here. "

"First off, the rooms at The Loren are large, beautifully appointed, and the bathrooms spacious and well lit. The ocean views from the 2nd floor rooms are as good as promised - we stayed in the main building and the waves crashing on the beach were literally 20 feet away. The main cocktail bar is a bit of a disappointment; it felt like it was an afterthought by the architect. It's tucked away in a corner on a floor below reception and above the restaurant. Sadly, it's not an inviting location to...
