"This was a truly welcoming, homely and professional hotel. We arrived early and they smiled and let us have our room with a warm welcome. Despite it being over new year and very busy around the castle they gave us a room with a birdseye view of the castle and also the beautiful horse pulled carriages some people use to get to the castle. I had been unable to get tickets to visit neuschwanstein castle before hand but they were able to get us some for the following morning and said their staff...

"Great property beautiful rooms and warm cozy lobby. Food was excellent and staff was super friendly. The hotel is out of town and although they have a pass for the buss you have to walk down the hill to catch the bus and return back to hotel. So not very convenient "

"Fantastic old properly but with modern features. Some old hotels show signs of age but the owners of the Eisenhut have made sure that things are clean and new without spoiling the charm of a century’s old building . Brilliant location , very attentive staff. No cons at all with the hotel, but for info don’t follow set nav when Christmas markets are on , all surrounding roads around the hotel are blocked off . So it may be better asking for the car park location and parking first as this is...
