"We enjoyed our 1-night stay at The Plantation Resort. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was relaxing and the bar Manager, Shelly, poured delicious margaritas! Shelly was super sweet. We loved swimming with the manatees in Crystal River and we hope the staff is safe from the recent hurricane. This is an older property, but our room and bathroom was clean, had a mini-fridge, and we ate a delicious breakfast the next day on property. "

"Property was lovely clean and comfortable. Liked the fact there was a bar and a Denny’s right next door, would have happily stayed longer but got off because of the hurricane. "

"The shower curtain was too small for the shower opening. Water easily ran out of the shower area. Would stay again. "

"Place is old. Room was clean only made up 1 of the four nights I was there. The location is spectacular and the Waterfront Social Tiki Bar and Grill adjacent made up for other misgivings."

"What I didn't like is that the hotel had no recyclable, eco-friendly flatware and drinkware. Everything was plastic or styrofoam!!! (really bad for the environment). Only plastic cups. No water glasses in the room. We had to drink the wine from plastic cups. "

"Very friendly staff. Once renovations are done, the lobby will be very nice. Right next to Homosassa Springs you can walk to. Very close to Crystal River. Spacious room. Only thing it could use is a paint job on the bathroom door. Comfortable beds. "
