"Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"This is a lovely rustic property with a beautiful outdoor area including plenty of seating areas and an adequate sized pool. A car is needed. "What a wonderful stay we had! We had a most amazing week in this newly built house, where all our stresses melted away. The house is as described, comfortable furniture (the double bed was so comfortable, we slept very well!) and we had everything we needed. The outside area was fabulous: the pool, the gardens, the views were wonderful. Natividade and her husband were great hosts, very amenable and kind. "The continental breakfast was simple but always fresh. Cleaning staff asked every day if anything needed doing. Reception staff always ready to offer advice on where to dine, walk or visit depending on the amount of time we had that day. While I am aware that the hotel is not a 4 star hotel, the staff made it feel it could be. "

"The Yeatman was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The team was great. It was our first time traveling with two kids under 3, and our room had two cots ready, with slippers, Yeatman teddy bears, shampoo and soap for kids, etc. For us, there was a small bottle of LBV port, chocolate truffles and Pasteis de Nata - a nice touch! The room was beautiful, with stunning views. Everyone at the hotel was lovely, and they made us feel welcome despite our kids not being the most discreet. Looking forward to visiting again!"
