"It was a great retreat for hardworking women who needed a beautiful setting, all sorts of pampering and a chance to unwind in God's beautiful surroundings! We came prepared to make a fire, but were so well taken care of, we just left the wood behind for the next inhabitants. I hope they enjoyed it! A few things we thought could make the stay even better: Scrubber pads for scrubbing the pans (sponges just don't cut it - though they were new and fresh!), Aluminum foil (for keeping baking clean),...

"Was very happy with the home and its location. We were visiting our daughter in Portland and it was 20 minutes from downtown. Home was also a great place to visit in a beautiful cozy atmosphere. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all our cooking needs and home was very clean.And the view of the river was beautiful. Loved all the windows."

"Thus small cottage was the perfect size for the two of us, with serviceable amenities including coffee, soaps and lotion, clean towels and linens, and wi-fi. The age of the property was apparent in the wavy floors and drafty windows, but provided heaters kept us toasty, and the cozy charm was enhanced by the periodic rumble of the passing trains nearby. Overall, a convenient and cozy stay!"

"Had an overnight in Portland to see some friends, this was an easy stop in a great location (central to some great food and things to do, easy to get to). My travel buddy couldn't make it but I felt safe by myself; would've been totally fine and comfortable with another person even in the small space. Scott gave lots of detailed instructions and was super communicative. Added bonus: it rained overnight and it sounded lovely on the roof!"

"We had a delightful stay in this blue cottage. Sebastian was very helpful--even sent us a care package of treats, when none were there for us.
