"By The Sea Guesthouse is a bit far from downtown, but in a quiet area, which is nice! It's a 20,000 to 25,000 COP taxi ride to go downtown but easy to find a taxi and only takes a few minutes. Price was very reasonable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was great. Very helpful. Room was very clean and nice. We had the Standard Triple Room, Ocean View, which I think was the nicest room. "I adored this place. I stayed in 4 similar hotels across Southeast Asia, and this topped every single one. The location is perfect. The workers are so so so kind and make the best homey breakfast. The room and bathroom is clean. There is always an employee at the desk, no matter the time. It has a pool and hammock and is very beautiful (I do love red). The only minor issue is that there were a bit small bugs, but I didn’t notice before my siblings told me. Highly highly recommend! "
