"I initially choose this property due to the location on the river. It’s literally across the street so you can hear the water and see everything from the front porch. It’s very close to Waynesville and area towns. For a close eat we recommend the Haywood cafe. Very friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. Place is very clean and the host is thoughtful and communicates well. "

"Our family of 8 was very comfortable at the Steele Waters Lodge. It’s an older home with lots of character. It is well off the beaten path- which we enjoyed- but a 25 minute to grocery stores and most conveniences. It’s gorgeous country!"

"Had a wonderful weekend staying at this house in Clyde. We were excited to actually be able to check in since the hurricane destroyed so many homes near there. This home is very nice and the beds are so comfortable. Lots of space and beautiful views. So honored to be able to volunteer at the International Sports Complex in Canton and hand out food and provisions to the great people who live here. The people who live in this area are so strong and resourceful. Loved meeting so many ❤️😊"

"This stay was for my son’s high school graduation. He loves all things trains. We have stayed in many caboose cars across the country. This is by far the nicest we have stayed in. It has everything you need. It is modern, but has kept an authentic feel. He had a blast being able to utilize the cupola. The fact that it is on a Buffalo ranch is an added plus. "Rented this cabin for my family for our son’s 18th birthday. Although my husband and I only got to visit for a few hours because of work obligations, this place was exactly what I wanted! The rest of my family had a wonderful weekend! Definitely plan on visiting again!"

"The cabin is accurately pictured and was clean and cozy. We had a problem with the remote needing batteries but we were pleasantly surprised that they came out that night to replace them, so 5 star service! The only reason I’m not giving it a perfect score is that we felt the road leading to the cabin was downplayed when we inquired about it. "What a great spring break vacation. It was my husband, son (11), our dog and myself. The cabin was very nice and spacious. We loved the game rooms downstairs where my son and I would team up to try and beat dad. The hot tub was very nice to relax in. My son and I have sensitive skin and usually break out from others hot tubs but our skin had no negative reactions which was amazing.
