From the large soaking tub overlooking the tranquility of the mountains to the comfy beds, we had such a great time our kids didn’t want to leave. It’s the perfect location to go to Beech mountain and take advantage of the free sledding hill. We’ll be back :) »

« We come here almost every year for my daughter‘s birthday, which she requests every year. And she loves to stay in the farmhouse because all the animals are nearby. You can meet Mr. Walton at the barn in the mornings and help feed the animals and visit the horses. There’s a fun treasure hunt and fairy forest. We have also stayed at the nest in the past and had a great time, but my daughter likes being down at the farmhouse with all of the animals, especially Piper who would visit us every day....

« I was visiting the area for business and needed a place for my mother and I to stay. It was winter time, but still, the property is lovely. It is an old farmhouse that's in great condition, and been restored. We stayed in the Farmhouse Apartment (a private apartment attached to the main Farmhouse). « House was fine - very charming - except for the cat pee smell and a bathtub that did not work. Also, we were not made award of the lockbox for house key until we had to ask. »

« My oldest daughter was getting married at a venue in Meadow (outside of Benson NC) we found this property and realized it was only four minutes from venue location. My wife had family coming in town from Massachusetts and Alabama. We were able to comfortably accommodate the guest. The property was as described. Great view. Ducks, chickens, cows. Beautiful pond. « We’ve stayed at the Bald Knob Farmhouse many times and love it every time. It’s so peaceful and homey and we enjoy just hanging out and spending some quiet time there. Clara is wonderful to work with and we hope to continue visiting many more times in the future. »
