"We had 6 adults at our stay. It is about 30 minutes from the wedding venues located at Paradise/Bridgeport area. It is on a small acreage off the main highway so would be great for a family with children. Kitchen is large & beautiful; however, if you want to do cooking you will need to bring essentials like salt/pepper/sweetener/coffee, paper towels, & other items for kitchen needs & clean up. etc. "

"I was so excited to find this home to stay in during a family holiday weekend. My sister lives right around the corner so I was familiar with the rural setting and thrilled that there was a home so close to her rather than having to stay in Decatur. One amenity that we didn’t use but will keep in mind for future visits is that this home is handicap friendly with the exception of a downstairs shower. The first level is all floor, no bumps or awkward transitions and there is a small half bath...

"We held a family reunion with 14 adults and 6 toddlers / infants and this was one of the only places available in the Dallas / Ft Worth metro. If you are looking for a no-frills spot to just hang around the house together, this one is for you. The pool was a hit, but the host does nickle-and-dime you with a charge by the hour for the hot tub (it does get hot quickly). The house is in okay condition, but it could use some improvements. "Took opportunity to relax with my brother who had surgery about a month ago. The house and rec area was all on one level and convenient to Bridgeport and Decatur. Weather was perfect..water views were spectacular. "

"Kristin is a great host when communicating with the whole process from beginning to end. Staying in a lakefront property even in winter was great. Our family enjoyed sunrises and sunsets with hot coffee watching the amazing views off the back deck.The fire pit was a nice touch. There was plenty of room for all twelve of us. "This was a great vacation home and very comfortable. The reason I gave it 4 starts was because there was no internet, and the TV was really slow. If you are looking for a place to relax and unplug, this is he place for you, but I was there for work and internet would have been nice. Itwas a great place though"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The water on the lake was down, but the host messaged me right away after booking to let me know just in case I wanted to cancel. We went anyway and I'm so glad we did. The property was very nice and we had plenty of room for our group. the home was very clean and comfortable, too. We live close to Fort Worth and just wanted someplace not too far since it was only for two nights. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"The room and linens were fresh and clean. Loved the hand soap and lotion dispensers. Could not get the water to turn on in the shower. :( Wierd. We were in a hurry to leave as we had an impending storm looming, so we didnt take advantage of the morning breakfast. But the help at the front desk about 8AM was amazing. I only wish I could provide her name. Overall, great stay."

Great Stay for very cheap

"I was a little skeptical about booking this hotel because the price was so cheap. It was only $60. We were very happy with it once we got there. They were remodeling so they had some extra things around in places which is understandable but everything was clean. The room was spacious for my family of 5. The beds were very comfy and we slept great and usually don’t in hotels. The man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We were also within walking distance to fast food places and a really nice grocery store which was great. We also had a trailer and had room to park it. Definitely well worth staying especially for the price compared to other hotels. The only negative thing was the pool could maybe be a little cleaner and have some maintenance done on it."

"From booking the trip, to arriving, the stay and departure, the entire booking was wonderful! The owner was very, very pleasant and accommodating. The house is super cozy, perfect size for the five of us. The open back porch is lovely. If you are into fishing, this house is perfect for you! Boat dock right behind the house! We will be booking again soon! We caught fish and had a great, relaxing time together. Recommend this house! "
