"My husband and I recently stayed here for my birthday trip to Belize. It was really lovely there. The staff was out every morning very early doing landscaping and maintenance. Our one bedroom cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean, the AC was much appreciated, and the bed was comfortable. The only downside is that the windows are always open. "The staff were amazing. So kind and always willing to take the extra step for any sort of accommodation. The resort was also amazing in scheduling transportation. Everything is so clean and everyone was so friendly. The two excursions we booked were worth it. Charlie and Chris are wonderful!"

Nothing available on site and you either must rent a golf cart for an hour ride into town or a cab. $50/$100 USD respectively. Island itself needs alot of work. "We loved our stay at RBR. Clean, well appointed. Comfortable. Excellent view. No problems. The grounds themselves, besides the pool area, need to be better in upkeep. Tools, construction material…etc lying about. The biggest flaw IMO is no access to food anywhere on property. It is a 15 minute golf cart ride to a grocery store. A real 15 minute drive, not a Belizean 15 minutes (they’ll tell you 5 minutes). Summary: stay here and you’ll love it, just bring food and overlook the messes."

"First time to stay on Ambergris Caye. This property was very nice and spacious. We cooked a couple of times with the gas stove. Beds were good and place was clean. Nice view. Golf carts is a necessity. There is plenty of restaurants and grocery within 2-3 miles. Not the best beach or swimming area."

"The property wasn't clean, internet, TV, and AC all not working properly. The toilet take a longer time to refill after one flush. The toilet was not working properly, the room was not clean and no fresh towels or bed sheets provided. Extremely poor service. I will never stay there again. Look nice outside but the service is very bad."

"Very nice resort. Very clean and well appointed and equipped rooms. Good pools and pleasant oceanfront, but ocean swimming limited. Surroundings a little rough and main road condition could be better but there was a lot of construction and heavy truck traffic going on."

"It is a great family place. They have the best pier in the area by a mile. Saw eagle rays, sting rays and all sizes of fish off the pier. Very neat. "

"Resort lived up to its 4 star rating overall. Staff service was 5 star. It does sit near the Northern end of the developed area: pavement ends not far past the property gates. We expected better beaches, but that is not the scene in that part of Belize. The action leans towards snorkeling or dive and fishing. The wind was unusually strong and prevented any of those. But the resort itself was a fine place to hang, which we did. Also, Coco Beach does not try to extract every penny from their guests through nonsense fees. Chairs, towels, umbrellas all part of the room fee."

"I love, love, love this place. The staff was outstanding and once you get the hang of the boat schedule to the other side it’s smooth sailing. If you are not good at figuring out the schedule for the boat, the staff will take you on a golf cart to The Split to catch a ferry. It’s not too far either and we walked several times. Just give them a little notice. My only issue with the place was that the bathroom is open to the room on top. We would like a little more privacy in that area. "
