"It is a lovely, secluded property that could accommodate us all. It was well-appointed, including everything one might need. Check in and check out were easy, and the host responds quickly. I specifically looked for a property with a pool and this is listed with a pool--it actually has a small cool/cold spring-fed "hole" (maybe 7'x7')--if you go in, I recommend shoes, the silt is a little unnerving. "

"This property was the perfect mountain getaway. About an hours drive from Bristol and Asheville made for easy day trips. The property is absolutely beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife! "This fabulous home has everything you could ever want or need for celebrating a family reunion! Our group ranged from 3-93 yrs of age and everyone had a fun yet relaxing time. Mary and Quint are gracious hosts and made us feel like we had come home. The home is beautiful, the grounds filled with goats and sheep and two very friendly dogs. "We (2 seniors and 3 girls - 5 to 11) had the BEST week at the Farm Barn. We were enchanted with the baby pigs and goats, the swing was a huge hit and Farmer Steve was patient and allowed the girls to help him. We will never forget our week. Thank you. It was hot part of the week and not having A/C made it sticky but it truly was the only negative. And we would not have traded the experience."

"I would say overall this house was super nice! She stocked the kitchen and had crumbl waiting for us! There were only 3 small things that prevented me from giving it at 5 star though. 1 thing is that after 4pm when check in was, we had to call to get our code because the owner wouldn’t answer our messages about it. The 2nd thing was that one of the days we found the owner entering the garage portion that isn’t listed as blocked off without telling us she was coming. We did have a panic moment...

Everyone enjoyed the farm tour and smores party, seeing and meeting all the animals, watching the piglets, holding baby chicks etc. There is so much room outside to explore and play.
