"If you are looking for a rustic, off grid, romantic mountain getaway- this is the rental for you. There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. The drive to the cabin is not for the feint of heart, but it was secluded and private with stunning views. Just a short drive to town for groceries and about 30 minutes to Shenandoah National...

Very thankful for a kind snow plow truck who cleared the way for our van to make it Down the road and then up the hill to be able to make it into the house. Great memories! "

"This house is perfectly set up for babies and toddlers. The toy nook upstairs and playroom (with air hockey table) were big hits- we had a 7 month old and two three year olds. It’s super close to the water park and ski slope, so you won’t run out of things to do on a family vacation. "

WiFi and internet service were very reliable, there were a couple great places to eat in the tiny town nearby (check out The Italian Job, you won’t regret it!) and Walmart was about 20 minutes away for the essentials. "I was thrilled to find this home nearing the end of the winter season. It was a treat to stay here - the furniture and decor was thoughtful and made for cozy nights. My family enjoyed the s’mores kit, the fire pit and the swings out back overlooking the golf course. The host was helpful and responsive. "
