Lacking cleanliness
My husband and I came up on a Thursday night for a weekend trip. The location was great, as we were close enough to get to area attractions easily, but still out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Branson.
When we arrived to our room, it appeared to be a nice room. We left to grab a quick bite and brought it back to the room, as we checked in late. We didn't pay much attention when we arrived that the Christmas tree had been placed right behind one of the chairs at the dining table, making it impossible for us to sit and eat together. The unit was decorated for the holidays, however if you lose functionality of some of the space, then the tree should not have been set up.
As I entered the bathroom later in the evening I noticed many areas on the ceiling had large black spots of mildew and what I assume to be black mold. The next morning, as I took a shower I noticed that the shower was not draining well, and by the time I was finished, there was about 2.5 inches of standing water in the bottom. It took all of the water approximately 17 minutes to drain. This was reported to the office staff.
The kitchen wall behind the trash can was covered in trash splatter and the cabinents were dirty and needed to be thoroughly wiped down, as did all of the bathroom cabinents. The floor at the front entrance was chipped and cracked.
While some of these issues may seem small, the cleanliness was not up to par for me, and unfortunately we will not return.
