"Both my husband and myself found the hotel to be just perfect location walk to the beach ideal for children..especially in summer months. Breakfast was great ample choice. However we found our bedroom overlooking the garden a little sparce could do with additional decorative objects to give it more appeal.."

"I stayed from Sunday to Tuesday and the hotel was silent! I did start thinking I may have been the only one there! The room was very clean and had everything I needed. Being by the coast, it does get really cold at night which I'm not used to being from London so Tanya, the receptionist, kindly provided me with a portable heater as the radiators in the rooms were on a timer and did not switch on. I loved the décor of the hotel, it's absolutely beautiful, the wood against the red really works...

"An unusual place in that it was totally unstaffed, but the access arrangements were fine and the room was comfortable, extremely quiet and exceptionally well provided for. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There was nothing to dislike at all and I would definitely return, but it's a shame that with such nice facilities, ie lounge, bar, etc. the areas are not used "

"All round the hotel was in the right location for our needs. The only thing was we were in a room in the roof space so it was restricted with head room, so if you got up in the night you had to remember to bend or you would hit your head , recommend when booking request you are on the lower floor as the bedrooms look more roomy and lager especially if you are staying for a few days. "
