"We picked this hotel as a stop off on the way to our skiing holiday. We wanted somewhere quiet with good parking, the hotel fulfilled both of these requirements. The hotel staff was very helpful, with check in and out being quick and hassle free. The room was nice, with a second bedroom for the children. Only two small things spoilt the room, the ash tray on the balcony had not been emptied and a light switch was hanging off the wall. As we were only stopping for one night, these wasn’t issues...

"Beutifully renovated authentic location. Spacious rooms. Very friendly personnel. Room was changed to accomodate a lengthy customer, a better fitting bed was offered. Top service. "The family room is really simple, 3 stars max (probably 2 is more accurate), but clean, no issues. You will hear water running if you open the windows (It's located creekside). "I arrived quite late and the receptionist informed the kitchen to stay open a bit longer to accommodate my needs, this was greatly appreciated. the staff were well trained and very courteous. the hotel was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when in the area. "

"We were unfortunate to have gotten a room above the restaurant, where until late at night a party took place. This room should not have been rented out, certainly not as a 4-star hotel room. All the lady at reception could offer was the remark that they could of course not leave the hotel empty when a party takes place. Also a minibar was missing in the room. The room was simply not worth the money and this was a once but never again experience. The two other nights and most of the other staff...

It was clean and tidy but I expected more for the price - the room was a bit small but the shower was good(the Simpsons towel in the bathroom was an interesting touch). I needed wifi and it was really bad. The breakfast was really bad and consisted of a tomato, two slices of bread , some egg and some weird cold hamburger . Given a choice, I wouldn't choose to stay here again"

"The hotel is a bit dated, but clean, well-maintained and a good value. It’s a short walk to the train station where there are frequent trains to take you the 20 minutes or so to Koeln Hbf. Staff were helpful, even letting us check in a couple hours early. The breakfast is okay for the price but I recommend getting there early- we got down there with about half an hour left and many items were unavailable or limited. "

"Was booked for 4 nights. Resturaunt shut mon open tues and wed. Shut thurs no reason given. Thin quilt in room. Curtains did not fit and i was on street level so in dark people could look in from street. Room not cleaned bin emptied or towels changed during entire stay. Was not cheap to stay there either. I am well traveled and stay away 4 nights a week with work and this was not good."
