Ours was a business related stay so we only slept and ate there for a couple of days. However, the pool looked large and well kept. The overall design of the rooms, land, pool, dining areas, entrance, parking, etc, was consistent and well thought out, with good attention to detail - some parts being quite stylish.
The staff were very professional while genuinely friendly, not trained-in friendliness, but real recruited-in friendliness. While I have no complaints about the front-desk staff, they did not display the same level of welcome and friendliness as the rest of the staff.
The open buffet was great and comprised good variety. The bar was well equipped and the barman knew how to make a good gin-tonic. There was a recognised selection of good wines and they were reasonably priced. Unfortunately, each double gin-tonic cost the equivalent of £13.
