"The management at this hotel was honestly not impressive at all. Starting with the negatives - we were in the hotel for a total of about 6 hours excluding sleeping time and had to still pay €15 for WiFi PER DEVICE! We specifically asked the reception staff multiple times whether it would reach our room, gave them our room number to check (a superior sea view room) and they assured us it would reach, but of course it didn’t reach our room! We then asked for our money back as we could not use it...

"I had a lot of trouble finding Aparthotel Ponta Preta because it changed its name about 2 years ago to Aparthotel Nautilus! This needs to be changed on Hotels.com after confirming with the owners. "This condo was comfortable and quiet. The ocean front and view of Mindelo was beautiful in the evening. The ocean facing balcony can be windy but the remaining side balcony was perfect. Condo maintains the basic essentials. Genilda was very helpful and always arranged a taxi for us when necessary and was always there. Genilda arranged a taxi at the airport arrival and departure. Building reception was very helpful as well. Taxi ride to Mindelo center is only 10 min ride or less."

"It is a low cost hostel and well worth the money. Nice big room with a big bathroom and a small balcony. It was clean, but could do with a little renovation. The staff were friendly and spoke good English and they provided me with a bag with some breakfast, since I had to leave before 5 am. I will happily stay there again. "
