"The beach was amazing, many places I can walk to outside of the resort. The food, drinks, and service were all great. My room was clean and had a stunning view. The RIU Parties were so fun and it was a bonus that RIU hosted Steve Aoki! Highly enjoyed my stay and would recommend and come back myself! "

"We loved our stay. Property was beautiful and clean. Staff were kind and fun! Frieda was awesome at bringing the fun bingo games! All staff service with a smile not one rude person! Food was excellent. The Mexican show was great! Our room was so beautiful hands down the most beautiful room and view I have ever experienced. We took our teenage kids this time. It was safe for them to go on resort by themselves. If you go here you have to get your beach chairs early as they will all get reserved. Jose on the beach chair assignments was great we loved him! They have the best life guard they called him Agua Man and he made sure all people on the beach were safe! Our host upon arrival was Oscar he treated us like royalty we loved him! Kids felt like royalty each night with free room service and chocolate cake! Overall such a positive experience! Go and see this place and these people! We will never forget the hospitality and the kindness and outstanding service! Thank you Royal Sands!"

"Excellent stay - we loved it, hotel was clean and welcoming, with an excellent variety of dinner options. There was plenty of choices for midday snacks around the pool area as well. The beach is outstanding and staff is very eager to help. They should improve on a couple points though. What we didn't like is that breakfast is very limited overall, and very limited for people not eating pork.The hotel advertises beach volleyball and snorkeling equipment for use. Beach volleyball was advertised on daily activities as well, but was never set up during our stay, so I highly doubt they have it at all as whenever I asked about it, I was told it was taking place in the pool. Snorkeling gear was only available if you would book a snorkeling trip. That was not advertised as that too. Also, if there are pool tables, they should be level, and there should be chalk for cues."

"The hotel and staff are amazing and it’s a brand new facility. Everything looks amazing. Our only complaint is that the gym for a new massive hotel is far too small and under equipped. One weights bench. Dumbbells only go up to 14KG The gym needs to be 4X bigger as a minimum. In today’s age people like to work out on holiday. "
