The property is old but rooms have a new coat of paint and comfortable bed and furniture. Excellent for the price Has n attached nice steak house(did not try), plus restaurant for hot breakfast but does offer an included Continental breakfast. Easy parking and pet friendly. $20 pet fee

The property is in renovation and the complete renovations will be beautiful… large games to play… indoor pool… soon to be game room attached to a night club and restaurant… front desk SUPER NICE AND FRIENDLY… give her a raise!!! The bathroom will need a fan and if you plan to keep those big shower heads a shower only is best either open or glass… our bathroom floor got soaking wet cause of the over sized shower head… and add somewhere or something like a bench or closet for clothes… other wise… just more parking

Our stay at Cactus Cove was one of my favorite hotel stays ever. The location is clean, quiet, and fun! The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. The attached bar/restaurant was BEAUTIFUL and the staff here were also friendly. The rooms are arranged around a central indoor atrium that has a mini putt putt grass, life-sized connect four game, Koi pond complete with food to feed the fish, and a lovely seating area. I truly have nothing negative to say about this hotel at all, I highly recommend it and will stay here again when I am in Amarillo.
