"Well-maintained hotel. Owners/workers were nice, helpful, and really appeared to care about your stay. Clean rooms. Quiet hallways. Lots of restaurants close by. Conveniently right off the highway. Breakfast had a large variety of options and was well-stocked/maintained. Only complaint would be poor water pressure in shower and that housekeeping hadn't refilled/replaced body wash in the shower."

"The price is great, the beds are comfortable, and the staff were wonderful! I booked this hotel last minute for a quick 1-night stop along our route. I chose it based on the overall 8.0 review rating, which I don’t think it deserves. This is solidly a 6 or 7 hotel. It is perfectly fine for what it is, but it’s not great. The shower walls weren’t clean (they had hair sticking to them), the bathroom vent fan rattled and made an awful racket the longer it was on, and you had to hold the handle down...

"Location: great. Character: undeniable. Bed: hugs you. This building was built in 1912 and revamped into a hotel with current accents, but not enough to erase the history of the building itself. So keep that in mind when booking. If you prefer new and bougie, look elsewhere.
