The staff was friendly and helpful and I loved having a cafe/cocktail bar downstairs. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but not the worst either. However, my husband and I both hated their “signature L-shaped couch.” It was just uncomfortable. "

"The staff are very friendly. The rooms are airy and large. The shower is a bit of a mission to get into. The paint on the cupboard and side table is chipped and needs to be touched up. Windows open to allow fresh air as the room gets stuffy when the heaters are on. Breakfast is served quickly and the breakfast room is nicely laid out. Location is great to walk around Edinburgh."
