"Black carpet shows stains and the type of carpet used hung on to lint etc so the carpet did not look vacuumed. The elevator situation- one of two not working through the Xmas holidays. They have the bones for a great hotel but it is only at the cheap and cheerful stage. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairmont Gold. The breakfast was amazing and extra snacks at 5:00pm meant we didn't have to worry about going to eat so much. The highlight was definitely the food, view and staff. The hotel is also so close to many cool restaurants, spas and cocktail bars. Parking was a bit annoying sometimes, but the staff took care of our issue promotly. We will be returning. "
