"Fairmont is obviously a great place to stay. Food and service were great. We upgraded to a junior suite with a view of the planes landing. The rooms could use an update, particularly the carpets. At the same time, everything is super convenient (automated curtains and you can control all the lights from bed). I wanted to use the gym for the treadmills, but 2 out of 4 were broken and the 2 functional ones were being used. I just waited a bit and they became available. But then the one I used had...

"The staff was kind and professional. The place is also situated at a convenient location with access to several shops. Our room was spacious and clean adorned with elegant furniture. My only complaint was that I could faintly hear the people next door while they were talking, so the soundproofing between walls was a bit on the weaker side, in my opinion. "

"We were on the 15th floor in a hypoallergenic room. We asked for both and they complied. We also asked to be away from any BARKING dogs. We've been burned at the Westin Vancouver with dog barking at all hours. We didn't hear one bark at the Paradox. Valet is a bit pricey at $55 CAD."
