"Great location. Average hotel. Some staff were extremely friendly and polite while others seemed like they would rather be elsewhere. The person who checked us in was not inviting, was very quiet, and just seemed like he didn't want to be working front desk. We checked in on a Wednesday so it wasn't super busy. Rooms are average. "The property is nice, fairly modern and convenient to downtown attractions. (Museums, Grant Park) The staff is friendly and accommodating. The South Loop is not as nice as it use to be…lots of trash on the sidewalks and empty storefronts. "

"This was in such a great spot/area. Very central to everything and right near the riverwalk with so many restaurants to choose from! The blue line takes you right to the hotel with a 4 min walk from the train drop. "

"We had outstanding desk help in the form of Kenya and Jose. Always ready to offer suggestions for dining, or sights not to be missed; always with a laugh or a joke. The location was not quiet. Just half a block from a fire department. Lots of sirens. It isn't the Hyatt of the 70's or 80's but it was pleasant. Wasn't impressed with the service in their restaurant, Ema, but there are tons of great eating places within walking distance."
