"Considering the moderate cost, this Hampton Inn is a very solid value. It's located adjacent to a highway (3 or 4 lanes each way), with a car dealer across the street. It doesn't offer a desirable view, and there isn't anything useful or interesting within walking distance. But Alexandria's Old Town is just a mile away, and if you are attending a conference in National Harbor (as I was), it's a 6 min drive to the Plateau public lot by the Gaylord convention center. "First , this is my second time staying here and the first time I thoroughly loved it. This time , I still can say the room was clean and the front desk was still extremely nice as well as the housekeeping . However it was a lot of drifters hanging around this time.
