We came in early and left bags at the hotel before check in. Staff is great and prompt. The hotel is also conveniently located and we walked around to most locations (i.e., zoo, museums, etc)

Hotel is located in a nice and safe area, around 10 minutes walking from Dupont Circle Metro Station. You can also use the Circulator, blue line and connect to Yellow and Red lines.

This has been a fantastic stay at the Lyle. Perfect location, comfortable/quiet rooms and a professional/friendly staff. We highly recommend the Lyle and will stay here again on our next trip to DC!

Disappointed Guests We specifically reserved a room with a kitchenette as they are no mini refrigerators in the standard rooms, a negative in my mind. The mini kitchenette was equipped with a sink, large dishes, mugs, glasses and flatware. Not sure exactly how we are to use all the nice dishes when there is no microwave or refrigerator. Expected a bit more from a premium hotel like the Lyle. There's a mini bar frig in which I was able to squeeze two bottles. The shower was pitiful no water pressure at all and shower head was not moveable for different sized people. Room had a funky smell and mattress was not comfortable. What happened to flat sheets on beds? The comforter is nice but too heavy and hot when trying to get a good night's sleep.

It's very hipster-y with a terrific restaurant. Amenities well thought through. Rooms arranged well, with clothes storage oriented towards the shorter stays.

The Lyle Washington D.C. is a lovely hotel with exceptional service. We dined at the hotel restaurant which was delicious. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. We did change rooms due to some inconveniences. The staff was helpful and accommodating. It's a good distance to the sights, however, it is walkable and a beautiful walk.
