Overall it was ok. Pros: Nice clean rooms, clean building, and good neighborhood. Cons: the automated check in and out is a pain. The water pressure in the shower is so weak that it is difficult to actually get clean.

The one bedroom apartments are great! They are comfortable and bright. Love the full kitchen as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The facilities are fantastic with many different types of rooms to relax or hang out with friends in.

I liked my room and it was clean for the most part. Cushions on the couch needed a good cleaning as they smelled like old sweaty head. I also noticed under the bathroom cabinet had tons of garbage and dust bunnies (oops!). The tv app was a little buggy ( and I had to remove other people’s Prime accounts — lucky for them! But the rest seemed pretty clean and everything I needed was in the kitchen. Lots of towels in the bathroom — although I was one person in a room for 4 max) Staff were very friendly and talkative. I really liked the location and my view. Air on was loud and woke me up a few times when it turned off and on, but I was glad it was there as there were a few toasty days and nights. There was a fire alarm at about 4 am— I didn’t know it was a fire alarm as it was just a beeping sound and not the typical fire alarm— many of us on our floor didn’t understand what it was. It was only when 8 saw the fire trucks that I understood what was going on. A notification of what happened would have been nice. When I asked people at the desk, they didn5 know about it. Despite these little hiccups, I enjoyed m6 stay and would stay again.

On our last night there was a major issue with the AC - extremely loud rumbling sound, almost had to raise voices to hear each other. The solution was to send someone within 12 hrs. Woman on front desk basically said we were too light sleepers and that she can sleep through anything. No apology for inconvenience or anything. Eventually we were offered another room. Otherwise, we are huge fans of the Sonder!!

My husband and I stayed here during the victoria day long weekend and this felt like a home away from home. The apartments have everything you need, from cookware to dinnerware, and we loved the fact you can do your grocery shopping in the area (Independant and Loblaws within 10 minutes walking) and cook your own meals in the kitchen. Very quiet and safe. Highly recommended 👌
