"It was our third visit to Excellence El Carmen (End of May 2024). We love this brand and, specifically, this hotel. Pluses are the cleanness of rooms and property, friendly staff (especially Isaak at the front desk and Markos at the piano bar), excellent food with plenty of options, the beach being clean of seaweed (not like in Mexico), a lot of entertainment and activity options, and a very relaxing spa. Minuses: No more juice bar, which we always enjoyed, no drink servers at the buildings...

The included excursions are a good value to take advantage of and the food was spectacular in the majority of scenarios. My only thing I’d like to see improved is consistency/ training of bartenders.
