We didn't realize it was a holiday weekend, so everything in town was booked up when we planned our trip. We visit Victoria often, but we stick to our favorite spots and had never considered the Doubletree. I would absolutely go back! The location is close to everything, property is clean and quiet. We loved the suite layout, which had a ton of room for two of us and a fridge for leftovers from all our delicious meals. I have never had a bad meal in Victoria, the food is so good everywhere! The bar downstairs was amazing. Our friends happened to be staying in the hotel as well, and we met for drinks at the Humboldt. Outstanding, unique artisan cocktails. We went back for a second night. There are no NA selections on the menu, but they made one on request and it was fantastic. At least one high school band was in the hotel for the parade on Victoria Day, but we didn't hear any noise or disruption. The hotel is quiet, the bed was luxurious, and there is great lighting and a view of the Empress and beyond. Also, warm cookies at the front desk! Would happily stay here again!

Everyone was so nice and accommodating and the rooms were very clean and comfortable we were able to walk to restaurants and stores and if we needed directions the staff were so helpful If I go back or someone needs to know were to stay I will tell them about the Hilton
