"We had a wonderful week at A Pearl of a Beach Home. The house was perfect for our family of 5. More than enough room, the pool and hot tub was where we spent most of the time. The beach was an easy walk right up the street. The most beautiful sunsets, and some of the best beaches we have ever seen. There were plenty of great restaurants close by (well everything is really close on the island).
We spoke to several neighbors and locals and everyone was super friendly.
Every question we had was...
"My boyfriend and I thought this hotel was so cute, we loved it! The rooms was very clean, had a beachy feel which fit the theme- also it had a little backyard which was very nice to hang out in the evening. The staff was super accommodating and welcoming, and gave us a little tour of the property upon arrival. The property itself was very charming with a tropical feel, and plenty of spaces to hang out. I wish we stayed longer so we had more time to hang out at the pool or by the fire pit. We...
"Pool/gulf view is a must. Very nice, but pricey.
Sliding glass door very, very hard to move.
Shower water temp was way to hot, and could not
be cooled with the regulating handle. We did not ask
for a handicap accessible shower/bath, but got one.
Did note care for the old tile floor, which looked dirty.
The beach is really nice, with reasonable fees. Not
overcrowded. The pool/gulf view overshadows most
small issues."
"The rooms can use new AC units as the rooms smelled due to water leaking I’m from the unties onto the floor. One of our rooms smelled bad. The showers have been updated but do not keep the water in the shower and leak onto the bathroom flooding which can cause a slip and fall."
