There was a lot of mold in the bamboo above the shower, and the entire place smelled like mold, no matter how much we aired it out. There was a leak from the shower in the room above, which would come through the ceiling into the shower. It appeared there was another previous water leak on the wall of the bedroom. The floor was constantly sandy, it doesn’t seem they clean the floors before arrival or daily at all. The bed was uncomfortable. Surrounding the hotel are several clubs which play music at very loud volumes until 3am. Other than that it was great!
The staff at Selina are exceptionally helpful, friendly and gracious. Hotel is just as pictured in a boutique style with a great barely used pool in the courtyard and a very well maintained and clean common kitchen with everything you'll need. Rooms are in great condition and simple.. all you need in a quaint little beach town like Sayulita.
Really comfortable beds, 2 pillows, a nice duvet and a blackout curtain. Free yoga, helpful staff and lots of books to exchange. There is almost no social scene here, it’s not easy to meet people.
It was a beautiful property. Very close to the beach. The staff was more than helpful and pleasant. The common areas were large, safe and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.
