"The flat was an ideal size for us, comfortable, well equipped and in an ideal location. The landlady was very pleasant and helpful! We would both be happy to stay again. Highly recommended!"
"Not very child friendly,
Main Pool was closed on arrival then when It was opened there was no pool bar unless you ordered through their phone.
Park was a life saver for children as there’s nothing to do around the area unless you get in a car. Especially when it’s too cold to use the pools. Very hard to keep children busy. "
"This is my favourite place to stay in Cascais. It’s a beautiful property (both inside and out) with an excellent restaurant on site. The staff are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend:)"
"Wonderful traditional hotel, beautifully decorated with historic relics and pictures of important people. The service is outstanding without being snobby.
The outdoor pool area is very nice, the windy days made a little difficult to fully enjoy this amenity.
My family and I look forward to staying in this property again in a future visit to estori.."
"Great location! . Wonderful breakfast (did not have the lunch nor snacks).
The staff was great ! Our car key would not work and our battery was dead . One fabulous young women (hotel employee ) took care of us, made calls to our rental car company and car service and got us back on the road to enjoying our holiday . She was great ( sorry that I don’t know your name .. you rocked !)
The only icky thing was the badly stained stairway, hall and room carpet … very off-putting "
"nothing like what expedia has the property described as . "waterfront" - no where near. "Situated on the boardwalk" no where near. One hand towel provided for 2 people and extra charges advertised for extra towlels/change within 3 days. Needed maintenance. The door had large gaps around, didn't lock properly. Shower curtain was filthy along the bottom. Outside areas run down and needed some cleaning & painting . double the usual nightly rate for Tom Jones concert but really wasn't worth...
"Very clean, staff were amazing, lots of stairs but had a chairlift. Very quiet at night but football field very close so lots of activity/cheering. Room was beautiful, we stayed in one of the round rooms pictured. Hotel is showing its age, but we would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to the beach and walkway. "

Our meal at Farol was excellent and as another bonus is breakfast each morning served with the view of the ocean."
