"The hotel staff, facilities and breakfast were excellent. Pool and gardens were lovely. Our stay was let down slightly by the very dark basement room with no outlook and the noise from a nearby building site."

"Great location! . Wonderful breakfast (did not have the lunch nor snacks). The staff was great ! Our car key would not work and our battery was dead . One fabulous young women (hotel employee ) took care of us, made calls to our rental car company and car service and got us back on the road to enjoying our holiday . She was great ( sorry that I don’t know your name .. you rocked !) The only icky thing was the badly stained stairway, hall and room carpet … very off-putting "

"The property said it has three restaurants but only one was open. They offered a vegan option that was "Tuna tataki"... The reception/concierge staff were generally rude and unhelpful. If you want to order food to the hotel because they only have one restaurant, don't worry they will only charge you 30 euros to bring outside food into the hotel."

"nothing like what expedia has the property described as . "waterfront" - no where near. "Situated on the boardwalk" no where near. One hand towel provided for 2 people and extra charges advertised for extra towlels/change within 3 days. Needed maintenance. The door had large gaps around, didn't lock properly. Shower curtain was filthy along the bottom. Outside areas run down and needed some cleaning & painting . double the usual nightly rate for Tom Jones concert but really wasn't worth...

"We stayed in the new section which is beautiful. This hotel would have been 10/10 if the air-conditioning worked, or the evening staff would come and investigate. "

"Everything was great, the only thing is they do not have anywhere to do laundry so if you plan to stay there for an extended period of time you will have to find a laundry mat. They do not have an ATM at the hotel either so there is that. Besides that it was perfect for me, it was a walk away from Cascais shopping if you needed anything and relatively close to the beach as well. I had a great stay"

"Det eneste greie med Poco Novo er avstanden til sentrum av Cascais. Ikke stell av rom, ikke AC, ikke kjøleskap, ingen servering, felles bad, og endeløse måkekonserter (fordi varmen tvang oss til å holde åpent hus) trekker ned. Ikke høyeste pris men alt for dyrt i forhold til kvalitet. Rommet var forøvrig overlesset/dekorert med kosedyr og juggel."
