Overview

Our experience is a tour to know the culture of the mezcal and some traditions of the central valleys of the State.
We will start our trip starting from the centre of the city of Oaxaca and we will first meet Teotitlán del Valle, where you can admire, take many photographs and if you so wish to buy rugs and handmade garments made by artisans from that region, then we will go to a Palenque (Distillery) in Santiago Matatlán (world capital of the mezcal), where you can know the whole process of making the mezcal and at the end of the tour you can enjoy an unlimited tasting of different varieties of this magical drink, and then we will transfer to Tlacolula de Matamoros where you will enjoy a good typical food, already included, made by a renowned traditional cook of the region and of course more mezcal, and then return to our starting point.
