What you can expect

Start in the Östermalm area, which is popularised by the rich and the famous. Be introduced to the traditions of Swedish food from richly flavoured exquisite cheeses to game meat. Sample beer that is crowned The Gold of The North. Get a red-carpet-like infusion into the world of Swedish delights at the high-end Östermalms Market Hall.

Head towards the heart of the city and indulge in a traditional Swedish lunch. Along the way, discover the crown jewel of the Nordic kitchen, the meatball. Learn what types of potatoes to serve with it and why there are specific jams for it.

Follow your guide through the beautiful Kings Garden. Pass the area that Vogue Magazine voted the as the third coolest district in the world. The tour will end in the Old Town, an area that dates back to the 13th-century and consists of medieval alleyways and architecture. Here be treated to traditional sweets and sweets.

We really enjoyed the tour and liked how knowledgeable Cotton our guide was. It was occasionally difficult to hear Cotton but it wasn’t his fault as the food hall was quite noisy.

I highly recommend this tour. We were lucky enough to have Teresa as our guide, who is a Stockholm local. Not only did she share some wonderful food experiences with us (the fish soup is to die for!) she told us stories about Stockholm and its history as we walked between venues. This was a perfect way to see and experience Stockholm. Thank you, Teresa!

Didn't get what we paid for. Was supposed to be a limited group - no more than 15. There were 20. The guide said this happens all the time. She did a reasonable job considering the number. Also, we didn't get much more than food and commentary about the food. There was no history or sight seeing between the stops

Matt was so great and so was the food! He made sure that I had an alternative at the Swedish meatball stop, I'm not a meat eater, and he really cared about making sure we had a good time. He was an interesting fellow to talk to and was very welcoming. he also recommended some places for us to check out after! like Giro and Tak! I can't gush enough about Matt, but I'll stop anyway

Nice chance to taste food we might not have otherwise. Plenty of variety and the food hall was a treat in itself. Be prepared for lits of walking.
