This full day tour provides you with a chance to explore the marvellous beauty mountains and valleys in Sapa. You will trek from Hmong villages to Taphin. This area isn’t much well-known by tour operators and tourists. It’s a quiet, peaceful and non-touristic area which is inhabited by Hmong peple; therefore, it still remains the original landscape and traditional activities. Let join the tour to experience stunning view of nature as well as daily life of local ethnic minority people.
At the departure time, you will be greeted and picked up at your hotel’s lobby in Sapa town by a local tour guide.
You will start your tour from Sapa town by walking downhill following a path through beautiful orchid’s gardens and lush pine forests.
Then, you will pass through a small village of Matra hiding away from civilisation. This village is inhabited by Hmong ethnic minority people. Coming here, you can observe the unmixed cultural life of Black Hmong ethnic minority people. They live happily together while maintaining their own tradition from generation to generation. You will walk along the lanes to see and visit local houses. These houses are normally built of land and have no windows in order prevent the cold in the winter. You can talk with local people here as well.
Your walking tour continues through rice paddy fields and spectacular scenery to Ma tra. During the trip, you can also stop by a local primary school for a quick visit.
You then will have lunch and a short rest before taking the afternoon adventure to Taphin village where Red Dao and Black Hmong people are living. Here, you can observe the unmixed cultural life of Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities, 2 largest ethnic groups in the area. They live happily together while maintaining their own tradition from generation to generation. You will walk along the lanes to see and visit local houses. Your will be interested in the unique architectural styles and furniture arrangement in these houses as well as their handicraft products.
In addition, while walking around, you can stop to chat with friendly local people here to understand more about their culture, customs and traditions.
Then, you will be picked up by a car and transferred back to your hotel in Sapa town.
