Which is a salt mine located in the municipality of Galerazamba and the pink coloration of the sea is due to a natural phenomenon derived from the great concentration of saline in the waters. When the rain falls, the drops of water break the granules of salt and create this phenomenon. Likewise, the sea has halophilic microalgae that produces beta-carotene, creating environments of high salinity. The pink sea is not a place to bathe in the water, it is rather to admire its pink colour, take some photos, learn about this natural phenomenon and support the local communities that live from the arrival of tourists to this place. You should also know that the Pink sea is a seasonal attraction, which is why it is only available for some months of the year (April and May only), and depends on whether it is raining or not because when rain comes then the salt melts and the pink colour can be diluted.
