What you can expect

Explore the wonders of the Philippines with a guided tour of nature-surrounded Tagaytay and the thriving capital of Manila. Capture magnificent views of the Taal Volcano rising out of Taal Lake in Tagaytay, then see Manila's most famous and historic landmarks with a knowledgeable local.

Start your day by heading out from Manila and venturing to Tagaytay, which sits on a ridge 2,250 feet (686 m) above sea level. From a viewpoint in the city, you can see astounding views of the sulfuric Taal Lake, with the Taal Volcano emerging from its waters. Your vantage allows you to see inside the volcano's crater as well, where another active volcano resides. Before returning to Manila, grab lunch, visit the Las Piñas Church to see the amazing bamboo pipe organ, and get a tour of the Jeepney Factory to watch 4-wheel vehicles being made.

Back in Manila, your local guide takes you on a tour of the city. Stop at Rizal Park, learning of the national hero it was named after, and visit the historic walled city of Intramuros. Within the old district, follow your guide to San Agustin Church, the oldest stone church in the country where you can see a number of religious artefacts. Finally, head to Fort Santiago, a defence fortress built to protect the city from attacks by sea. Your guide explains its historic significance since its construction in the 1590s, ending your tour on an insightful note.
