The breathtaking sight of the planet's largest mammal, the blue whale, in its natural habitat, is witnessed by setting sail from Mirissa. In Sri Lanka's southern waters, a rich array of aquatic life is found. In addition to blue whales, fin whales, sperm whales, and pilot whales, as well as many species of dolphins, might be seen.
