This tour starts early in the morning as you are picked up from your hotel or accommodation in central Quito and head to the northwest of the city. Admiring the landscape on the Andes Mountains we will make the first stop the visit the Hummingbird Garden. A unique spot a local farm to see from 10 to 20 species of hummingbirds ( depending on the season or time of the day) and try local tropical fruits. Be ready to walk for more than one hour into the cloud forest which is well-known to support an exceptionally diverse biological community that includes numerous endemic species plants or animals found nowhere else on earth. A series of beautiful streams and waterfalls are found in the reserve.
Then, you will reach the Mindo Protected Reserve area (1,300 metres above sea level). Located northwest of Quito, this is one of the highest biodiversity places in the world, this area is also known as the birdwatcher’s paradise. Here you can enjoy many unique activities which include zip line, rappelling, tubing, a chocolate factory and much more (cost of these activities not included). Have a wonderful time enjoying everything that this unique spot offers.

After a fun-filled day, you will return to Quito.
