This tour was an incredible way to immerse ourselves at the San Miguel Market and its surrounding area. Our guide, Rebecca, truly enhanced our experience. She took the time to ask about any allergies or dietary preferences right at the start, ensuring that each stop was perfectly suited to our needs. The food we sampled was nothing short of amazing. Rebecca's warm and engaging personality made the tour even more enjoyable. This is a must-do experience.

Our guide Rebecca was excellent! we were able to experience the sights, sounds, and bustle of Mercado San Miguel and the surrounding plazas, while enjoying generous portions of typical Madrid specialties along the way. The churros and other Madrid sweets we sampled were delicious as well! Rebecca was very engaging and knowledgeable, explaining the history and sourcing for the various dishes. She added to that information about the history of Spain and Madrid and of the prominent and historic plazas we strolled through. Two hours of stomach and soul satisfying pleasure!

San Miguel Market was the best part. Guides gave advice of other places to visit. Chocolate store visit was very good but not the churros. Not a lot of food tasting. Sandwich, chocolate, churros, calamari sandwich and cheese sample. Wish the churros could be replaced with meat tasting. History was given very well by guide.

The San Miguel Market is really fun. It's colorful with lots to see and eat. Tapas can be quite attractive. We also went to the Plaza Mayor to finish some calamari. Unfortunately for us it was a 45F cold, windy day and we sat outside without any cover or wall to break the wind. Nice guide who spoke good English. The food was good and the information was fun, but we were uncomfortably cold.

Roger was a fantastic guide. Not only did we experience Spanish food, we learned about history though the lens of food. It was the perfect combinations of sweet and savory food with a tour of local streets and venue options. We highly recommend this tour!
