Kick off with a look at the Hamburg Harbour and learn about Europe's second largest port. From the picturesque Landungsbrücken, take the ferry to the Fish Market, the city's most famous market, that takes place in the early hours of Sunday morning.

But what would a historic harbour be without its red-light district? Make your way through the park and learn about the squat culture and the strong political leanings at the heart of St. Pauli.

Stroll down the Reeperbahn, the most sinful mile in all of Germany. This is where the Beatles began their career in 1960. Get an insight into the area's seedier past as your guide enlightens you with the stories of pimps, prostitutes and famous mass-murderers that made a name for themselves on the Herbertstrasse.

You will finish off at the St. Puali U-bahn Station where your guide will point out some of the interesting transitions in St. Pauli, a district whose diversity means it is in a constant state of change.
