Itinerary
At the indicated time we will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz and we will go by minibus to Nevado Pastoruri. We start the excursion!

We will pass by the Patococha lagoon and we will stop to see the hot springs of Pumapampa. In this place we can also find numerous specimens of Puya Raimondi, an endemic plant. Did you know that it is the species with more inflorescence in the world?

Later, we will arrive at the Huascaran National Park to begin the 45-minute ascent to the Pastoruri glacier. Located south of the Cordillera Blanca, it is almost two square kilometres in size and is at an altitude of more than 5000 metres, a titan of ice!

After the hike at 15:00 hours, we will leave you free time to have lunch on your own and recharge your batteries. Then, after nine hours of hiking we will be back at the hotels in Huaraz.

Schedules
Due to weather conditions and time, depending on the time of the year, the tour schedule varies:

April to December: the start is at 9:30 am and ends at 5:30 pm.

From January to March: the tour starts at 8:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm.
