The tour is about 2+hrs as getting to the ticket booth, filling forms and entering takes well over an hour, though note it's very cold in Beijing Jan and Feb so 2+ hrs in the forbidden city grounds (all outdoors) is enough for most.

Foi um passeio muto interessante. O guia Alex Zhang foi excelente, tem muito conhecimento do local, simpático e bem organizado. Fizemos a visita guiada que durou mais de 3 horas e depois ficamos livres para explorar mais. Como a Cidade Proibida é muito grande, deve-se reservar um dia Inteiro para conhecê-la; mesmo assim, um dia apenas não é suficiente. Dentro dela, existem muitas lojas de souvenirs e locais para fazer lanche. Tem um restaurante, porém estava lotado. Super recomendo!

Don't miss out on the sunset on the top of the hill across the exit it is worth the climb and gives you an excellent view and understanding of how big the Forbidden City actually is.
