What you can expect

The Priorat is a region with ancient wine tradition, with wines already famous from as far back as the 12th Century, well known for its powerful flavour and taste. Nowadays, in the Priorat there are two appellations of origin (DO), the qualified DOQ Priorat, which is formed by the Historic Priorat territory, and the DO Montsant, a newer DO, however, producing surprisingly good wines.

The Priorat area, with it diverse but unknown wine landscape, is full of hidden and unexpected spots of great beauty, walks between vineyards which pleasure us with an ever changing scenery over the four seasons, full of colours and intensive aromas.

With this private tour, you will be able to “taste the Priorat wine region” in one day, enjoying its powerful landscape and savouring both appellations of origin of wine.

This was such an amazing tour! Meritxell was a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area as he family had been there for many generations. The tour covered everything from old family wineries and olive oil to the newer generation vineyards. You even get to stop and have lunch at a hidden gem of a restaurant for some delicious authentic catalán food. Don’t miss out on this experience!

Wonderfully planned and educational tour, amazing guide!: We had an amazing guide named Jordi. He was extremely well informed and we shared lots of laughs and great memories. The wine at each location was fantastic. We were welcomed by enthusiastic owners and toured the grounds and facilities. We especially loved the homemade lunch provided by the passionate olive oil maker. The views of the region are also breathtaking. I strongly recommend this tour.

Very satisfactory!: There were not so many wineries open on Sunday for 1 person but Gerard tried his best to respond to my requests. He was very kind all the time and knows very well about local wines. I had really a nice time.
