What you can expect

Indulge your senses with a relaxing and aromatherapy candle-making workshop. We have received 5-star reviews and featured on inflight magazine for to do thing in Luang Prabang. We have the expert to guide you step by step.

Our studio is like a candle Lab and seems to be the first to offer a complete professional equipment and more than 20 scents for you to explore and blend. We work with the Lao Disabled Women's Development Centre to craft the beautiful candle jars.

How to come:
We are located in the old town, the artisan village. Highly recommend to walk or ride bicycle or motorbike crossing the Old French Bridge. We are located not far from this location. In the same compound, there are traditional mulberry paper making, handicraft shop and temple.

This experience was beyond wonderful. Gai is an incredible teacher and host. Her attention to detail and the mindfulness she puts into every single detail is genuine and exceptional. The tea ritual and fresh snacks were icing on the cake. I would recommend to anyone! You will not be disappointed.

Great and enjoyable experience! Gai is a lovely and helpful person. While candle is getting dry and ready, you also try traditional lao tea. I‘d recommend this activity especially if you didn’t try making candles before

I had a very good time creating a personal scented candle and preparing Laotian tea. While making the candle you also learn a lot about the country and its people from Gai. At the end you have a nice personalised souvenir. I would definitely recommend to do this workshop !

This was a very interactive activity with clear instructions every step of the way. We went through a detailed explanation of different types of scent, how they smell, and how they can be combined, before coming up with a concept for our own candle scent and creating this by mixing different components together. As well as being an excellent introduction to candle making, we also made a cup of local tea and relaxed whilst the candles were setting. The whole experience was very calm and relaxing, and a lovely way to spend a morning with someone who knows a lot about this subject and is happy to share it.

Very good workshop. A lot of explanation. The room itself is very relaxing, a nice place to spend some time and learn about aromatic candle making. Thoughtful all the way through and the tea making is a nice extra touch. 100% recommended!

We truly appreciated the passion that Lee have for teaching others how to create a 100% customized candle. We could choose until various fragrances and the result was amazing! A beautiful atmosphere, in a peaceful, quiet and bright space where you can share moments of creativity, using simple tools and top-quality raw materials. Lee is really friendly and well prepared. We felt how much he cared about solving our doubts and giving us a wonderful experience. While the candles were drying, we had the pleasure of preparing traditional Laotian tea. Very good and interesting to see the preparation process. If you are passing through Luang Prabang this is an experience not to be missed. Thank you so much!
