Take an 11-day adventure to explore Nepal's temples, caves and more in and around Kathmandu. The 3-day trek during the tour is well-worth it to see the beautiful views from Poon Hill.
Day 1:
Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, check in to your hotel, explore the city and enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 2:
Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, and Boudhanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, as well as Pashupatinath Temple.
Day 3:
Take in scenic views of the countryside while driving along the Trishuli River.
Day 4:
Drive to Devi’s Falls, Gupteswar Cave and the bat cave. Take a leisurely row on Phewa Lake.
Day 5:
Drive to Tikhedhunga, start the trek, admiring the natural landscapes, including bamboo forests, along the way.
Day 6:
Cross the Tikhedhunga Khola on a suspension bridge to begin the 4-6 hour trek!
Day 7:
After about an hour climb, reach Poon Hill, a viewpoint where you can see a spectacular Himalayan panorama. Return to Ghorepani for the night.
Day 8:
Hike down stone staircases to Nayapul, where you will drive to Pokhara for the night.
Day 9:
Drive to Chitwan National Park, listed as a World Heritage site. Have the chance to spot wild animals, including rhinos and leopards.
Day 10:
Take a jungle safari in a 4x4 vehicle or by foot, or take a canoeing trip on the Rapti or Narayani Rivers. After, explore the surrounding Tharu villages.
Day 11:
Drive along the Trisuli River back to Kathmandu.
