Today you will visit the Yumen Pass, located 90 kilometres northwest of Dunhuang, it was built around 111 BC and used to be the main pass of the Silk Road to the north part of the Western Regions.

The park covers an area of 346.34 square kilometres, mainly with geological relics formed by wind erosion.
