What you can expect

Visit Uruguay and enjoy Colonia del Sacramento. Founded in 1680 by Portuguese people, this small town with a beautiful colonial architecture awakens admiration among visitors who walk along the cobblestoned streets and marvel at residences and colourful houses. For these reasons, Colonia was declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Enjoy a 4 stars hotel, and discover the city by yourself.

Day 1: Departure from Buenos Aires and Arrival to Colonia

A great adventure awaits you! We will pick you up early, around 7:00 am, our driver choices you up from your hotel/Airbnb and takes you to Buenos Aires ferry station.

After going through customs (note that passports are required) you board the ferry for a comfortable and pleasant 1 hours ride across the “Rio Plata” that separates Argentina from Uruguay.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local guide and embark on a walking tour of the city’s most iconic landmarks for a 2-hour stroll. As you visit each of the city's emblematic sites, your passionate local guide will take you on a journey through time, sharing live commentary full of information you won’t find in any book or travel guide.

Once the tour concludes and you have a clearer idea of where everything is located in the city, a driver will take you to your 4-star hotel for the night.

Day 2: Free Time and Return to Buenos Aires

In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast included at your hotel.

Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the city on your own or have lunch at one of the many local restaurants.

In the afternoon, at the agreed time, your driver will pick you up and take you to the ferry terminal for your return to Buenos Aires. Once there, another driver will be waiting to safely transport you to your hotel/Airbnb.
