"This is a very large property built into a hillside that requires a lot of walking. You cannot walk to town. Transportation is available however. Breakfast is good but other meals are expensive, especially alcohol."

Ok city, nice open air museum but no hot air ballon because of weather

Ürgüp is a tiny village. The area we stayed in is on the side of the mountain, so expect to hike a bit to get around. Overall the neighbourhood was friendly and safe, but borderline on the sparse side in terms of things to do.
